Just a simple little idea that would help with some of the newer players. I often find in fleet ops, it takes a bit of explaining on how to align to an object in space to those new to fleets. Seeing as there is currently an "align to" broadcast readily available, it shouldn't be such a secret/trick, so I was wondering:
Why not make the "Approach" button change to "Align To" for objects that are out of grid range?

If you're referring to initiating then cancelling a warp.... uhh, good luck doing that in a frigate. It's a workaround for a problem which shouldn't even exist in the first place, and which is a ridiculously easy one to fix.
It doesn't even make any sense that the approach command isn't available on distant objects. But if you can give me one good reason for this I'll shut up immediately.
That was kind-of what I meant originally. It seems like it'd be a fairly easy to implement idea, and certainly not game-breaking like some ideas on this forum
I'm more curious why they haven't gotten around to adding this yet.

I don't know why this isn't in the commonly proposed ideas thread.
EDIT: Oh wait, there is: here.
Oh... Hmm, guess I should start reading stickies. Admittedly, the last time I read that thread was probably two years ago.
In any case, it seems like a simple enough fix. Why hasn't it been implemented yet?
